My Approach
My approach to company acquisition is made up of several steps:
- Initial Phone or Zoom Call: During this call, we will acquaint ourselves with each other and delve into a deeper understanding of your company, its needs, and mutual interest in proceeding. You can either share your contact details for a callback or schedule a call on the page below.
- NDA and Financial Information: Following our initial call, we will sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA), and I will request financial information about the company. Typically, this includes the last three years of full accounts and your current management accounts.
- Discussion on Company Valuation: Subsequently, we will likely arrange a video call or a face-to-face meeting to discuss the expected value of the company from both perspectives. If an agreement is reached, we can proceed to sign a document called "Heads of Terms" which will include all the terms and conditions we have agreed upon.
- Due Diligence and Legal Process: The next phase involves the due diligence process. Simultaneously, we can instruct solicitors on both sides to commence work on the Shares Purchase Agreement.
- Timeline: The entire process, from initial contact to completion, typically spans between 8 to 12 weeks. However, it can extend to 6 months or more, depending on the complexity and involvement of both parties.
